Linear technology simply transforms the input voltage of 240v but also transfers

Switching on the other hand, utilises a purely electronic transformation

CTEK 800 Battery Conditioner has revolutionised
the chore of battery charging for those vehicle owners who wish to keep
their batteries fully charged when their vehicle is not being used.
The CTEK 800 Battery Conditioner is a compact
unit which, unlike conventional chargers, may safely be left connected
to lead-acid or maintenance free gel-type batteries indefinitely. Its
sophisticated circuitry constantly monitors the state of charge in a
battery and determines automatically when to turn the conditioner on
or off. Having the ability to charge a battery without disconnecting,
now means that clocks no longer need to be reset and the alarm which
protects your vehicle from theft can be left on without fear of ruining
or flattening the battery. Being able to provide prolonged unsupervised
maintenance to all types of 12 volt batteries constantly revitalises
battery cells for extended life and removes the inconvenience of a dead
battery if your vehicle is not used for long periods. An additional
diagnostic feature of the unit is an LED display which registers the
battery voltage before and after charging. For the technically minded,
other built in safety features include a warning signal against incorrect
polarity connection and an integrated thermal cut-off.
